Warriors vice captain, Teenage Hadebe has been suspended from the national team for one match after breaching the team’s code of conduct.

This means the experienced defender will sit out the Mukuru four nations tournament final against Zambia on Tuesday.

The gangly former Chicken Inn and Kaizer Chiefs hard man was captured on a video that has since gone viral, drinking alcohol while in camp.

Hadebe was in the company of teammates including captain Marvelous Nakamba, Daniel Msendami, Andrew Mbeba and Mongameli Tshuma.

“The Zimbabwe Football Association confirms that Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe has been

found in breach of the team’s camp code of conduct,” ZIFA said in a statement on Monday.

“Following this, a disciplinary decision has been taken in line with team regulations.

“Teenage Hadebe has been suspended for one match and will therefore miss the final of the Mukuru 4 Nations Tournament against Zambia.

“The player has since apologized to the team and the Association, and has accepted the disciplinary outcome,” added the statement.
