TELONE coach, Saul Chaminuka faces his toughest hurdle in the battle to save the club from relegation when his side squares off against defending champions Scottland.
Things have stabilized at the Gweru side who have lost only once in the last six matches.
In that same period, the Wifi Boys have recorded nine out of a possible 18 points.
They are unbeaten in the last three matches and occupy 15th place with 17 points.
However, all that comes under a strong test at Rufaro stadium this afternoon against Mabviravira.
Although he is aware of the threat posed by the Scotts, Chaminuka is not backing down.
“The good thing about this game is that every player wants to show how good they are,” he told The Echo Sports.
“This is when you get the most in every player in areas not only of effort but game intelligence as well.
“One thing l know is we are ready for this one and the boys will not only be answering questions from our hosts but throwing questions as well,”
TelOne will be without striker Tawanda Macheke who has been ruled out due to an injury.
The club confirmed that the striker will be out for an extended period after sustaining an injury in the match against Simba Bhora a fortnight ago.
Forward Tawanda Macheke will be sidelined for four to six weeks following an injury sustained during our recent match against Simba Bhora in Shamva.
Everyone at the club wishes Tawanda a full and speedy recovery. We look forward to seeing him back on the pitch soon.
In his absence, veteran winger Silas Songani is likely to be the leading light upfront together with Jerry Chipangura.
The Gweru side will also welcome back in form defender, Eriya Mafirenyika, who was suspended in the last match.
