CAPS UNITED coach, Takesure Chiragwi has dismissed claims that his team selection is biased towards former Ngezi Platinum Stars players.
Chiragwi who was in charge of Ngezi Platinum last season, brought with him several other players from the Mhondoro side.
After the 1-0 win against TelOne on Sunday, Chiragwi was quizzed on his team selection.
But the former warriors assistant coach was not having any of it, firing back at the journalists defending his selection.
“The players who are playing are Caps United players,” he quipped.
“And it’s a surprise that I’m getting that question from you when the team is performing and on top.”
He was not holding back : “We are where we are because Caps United players are doing the job for Caps United.”
“I am also a former Ngezi Platinum Stars coach so I’m not supposed to be on the bench is that what you are saying?” he further questioned.
Makepekepe have enjoyed a good start to the season where they find themselves top of the table with 19 points
from eight matches.
