FC PLATINUM stretched their winless run to six matches after a 1-1 draw against Highlanders at Mandava stadium.
The Zvishavane side last recorded victory against Triangle winning 2-0.
Since then, they have registered five draws and one loss – a 2-0 defeat to Ngezi Platinum Stars.
The home side surged ahead 15 minutes into the match after Oscar Bhebhe toe poked the ball home after a goal mouth melee.
Bosso however, were not behind for long, Nigerian Benjamin Adeogun restored parity from the penalty spot 11 minutes later.
FC Platinum coach, Joel Luphahla expressed disappointment after presiding over his 13th draw since taking over at the beginning of the year.
“Very disappointed by how we have gone about business this season,” said the former warriors winger.
“I am one coach who always tries to be honest, at the moment we are punching below the belt.
“We are struggling for goals although we are playing well, we are hoping to change that in the next couple of games.”
Highlanders coach, Benjani Mwaruwari was not happy with his side’s defending and felt that they didn’t have control of the game.
“It was a game of two halves, as I said last week, we are conceding too much,” he said.
“We are not scoring enough but I am worried that we are conceding a lot that is what worries me.”
Relegation fight heats up
