AFTER nearly a decade the CAF A coaching course resumed today in the capital with around 25 coaches participating in the course.
The last time ZIFA conducted the coaching course was in 2017.
This marks a major development in the country’s bid to grow the country’s coaching pool.
ZIFA president, Nqobile Magwizi officially opened the training course at the ZIFA village in Mt Hampden.
He underlined the significance of the program to the growth of the sport in the country.
“This is much bigger than simply hosting another course,” he said.

“It is about raising the standard of our football from the technical level upwards.
“Better coaches develop better players, better players strengthen our clubs and, ultimately, that improves the fortunes of our national teams.”
Some of the coaches taking part in the CAF A course include TelOne coach, Joel Luphahla, Chicken Inn assistant coach and Naison Muchekela
Scottland duo of assistant coach, Daniel Veremu and Danger Fourpence as well as other coaches from the lower divisions.
Luke Petros-Jukulile, David Sengu, Khumbulani Msendeki, Gibson Mutemera, Charles Mutero and Chasten Ngondonga are some of the names attending the course.
