Former Highlanders and Zimbabwe Saints coach Roy Barreto has died at the age of 72.
Barreto succumbed to an undisclosed illness he had been battling for some time.
At the time of his death, he was based in Portugal.
In the early 90s, Barreto was part of the National team technical department as an assistant to Reinhard Fabisch during the Dream team era.
He won the league title with both Highlanders and Zimbabwe Saints before crossing the borders to South Africa.
In South Africa he led Orlando Pirates to a league title as well
