A day after the Central Region Soccer League was rocked with media reports of an unfolding scandal in the title race, all eyes will be on the title chasing teams.
Sheasham make the short trip to the Midlands State University where they play MSU in a low key Gweru derby fresh from the slim 1-0 win over cross town rivals Chapungu.
Derbies are always tricky and the Construction boys will have to be wary of an upset at the Campus Grounds.
“All our games are important, we are always looking ahead of the next encounter,” Sheasham coach Prince Matore said ahead of the derby.
“Derbies are tricky but we have to be focused and make sure we get the best out of the match.”
In Kwekwe Hard Rock will be at home to Blanket Mine in what promises to be a walk in the park for the Kasongo boys.
The Kwekwe side have a spring in their step bouyed by the 13-0 demolition of Gokwe North in mid-week.
They will be looking for inspiration from in-form striker Donald Ngoma who bagged six goals against the Gokwe side.
Third placed Gwanda Pirates are at home to Jame West in what should be an easy victory for the Johannes Ngodzo coached outfit.
