ZIFA Central Region Soccer League (CRSL), will take a month long break after this weekend’s rescheduled fixtures.

The league reached the half way mark this past weekend, with only four reschedule matches set to be played this weekend.

In a letter to all the clubs, the CRSL said:

“The Region is pleased to inform you that the first half of the 2025 season will conclude on Sunday, 13
July 2025,

“We kindly request all clubs with outstanding fines and affiliation fees to clear their debts on or before 31 July 2025 to remain in good standing with the Association.

“Please be advised that all league games are resuming on Saturday, 9 August 2025.”

Sheasham will take a commanding six point lead at the half way stage of the season.

They are firmly perched at the top of the log standings on 45 points, six more than second placed Hardrock who are on 39.

However, Sheasham coach Prince Matore is not getting carried away.

“It makes it more difficult because everyone will be after us,” he said.

“Therefore, the second round will be hard, we will be the team to beat and everyone will be coming at us.”
