WARRIORS coach, Michael Nees has given positive feedback on Tinotenda Kadewere’s performance against Burkina Faso last night.
Despite the warriors, going down 2-0 on the night, Nees was left impressed by the French based forward.
The striker was making a return to the warriors set up after an extended period on the sidelines.
And Kadewere did not disappoint, putting a polished performance in a team that missed several regulars.
“I think Tino played very strong, I didn’t think he would last 90 mins,” said Nees after the match.
“My plan was to take him off after 60 minutes but the opponents took out Khama because he was fouled six or seven times.

“But Tino showed that he was still in good shape and I let him in. He played excellently, he showed what quality he is, when he is in top top shape. It was very encouraging.

The German tactician added that he was happy with how the team performed against a strong Burkina Faso side.
“Very good and physical opponent, they started very strong but our team never played like that before,”he added.
“We wanted to give some players first caps, I think we had four players who earned the first cap and there were so many players who I had not seen before.”
