Chaminuka pleads for sanity at Kwekwe United

KWEKWE United coach, Saul Chaminuka has pleaded for sanity at the club after his players boycotted training last week over unpaid dues.
The Gold boys’ house faced an implosion during the week as players refused to train demanding payment of monies owed.
On Saturday, the Kwekwe based outfit looked jaded in a 1-0 victory over Bikita Minerals.
Veteran forward Masimba scored the solitary goal that made the difference.
They also needed the brilliance of goalkeeper, Lennon Gonese, who pulled off a string of saves to keep the newboys in the game.
And after the match, Chaminuka was not happy with the turmoil that engulfed his camp during the week.
He felt the industrial action by players affected his side’s performance and pleaded for tranquil.
“We gave them too much space and time on the ball, from the start you could tell this was not my team,”he said.
“Normally we control possession, we can lose but even in defeat you can tell this is how we play.
“So i would like to think we were affected by the on-goings through out this week.
He added: “I’m hoping that things get better and we can prepare our team under a better background where everyone does their all.
“Matches are not won on match day but during preparation.”
The Gold boys are now on four points from three matches.
