EVANS Gwekwerere is most remembered for his goal scoring prowess for Dynamos in the mid 2000s.

Well, another of the Gwekwerere clan will be doning the blue and white strip of Dembare.

This time it is not Evans, but Ephraim, son to the former warriors striker.

Ephraim joins the Harare giants from Herentals U20, the club confirmed.

“Dynamos FC is delighted to announce the signing of striker Ephraim Gwekwerere,” Dynamos said in a statement.

“The 18-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Glamour Boys after arriving from Herentals U20.

“Ephraim is the son of our former forward Evans and is looking forward to follow in his father’s footsteps.”

Gwekwerere said he was thrilled to be part of the cast at Dembare this season.

“I’m delighted and excited to sign for Dynamos. This is a new chapter in my career and I’m looking forward to meet the demands of the club,”he said.

“I’m a different player from my father and I will work hard to continue making the Gwekwerere name big in football.”
