TELONE coach, Hebert Maruwa is defiant that his side will improve on their home record, this after the WiFi boys were held to a one all draw by ZPC Kariba at Bata stadium on Sunday.
The Gweru side has only won once at home in their first home match of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season beating Manica Diamonds 3-1.
Since then, the Gweru side has struggled to utilize home advantage losing thrice and registering five draws in the process.
And the former Black Rhinos and Dynamos coach feels that his side has progressed well and should start registering wins at home.
“Like I have been saying before it is a process, we have been losing matches at home but gradually the boys are beginning to have confidence,” Maruwa said.
“Now we need to make sure if we get a goal we defend better, improve our defending. The good thing is that we got the goal first.”
Striker, Washington Navaya gave Telone a head start when he poked the ball home from close range after a mistake by ZPC Kariba goalkeeper Tatenda Munditi.
The scores were soon level as the visitors restored parity courtesy of a Collen Muleya goal after 18 minutes.
The draw leaves Telone still stuck in the relegation zone in 15th place with 18 points.
