DYNAMOS coach Genesis Mangombe was left cursing his luck after watching in agony as his side fell 1-0 to FC Platinum here despite dominating proceedings all afternoon.
Having bought himself more time with a win in mid-week against Arenel Movers, Mangombe’s side got undone by a Wilfred Muvirimi goal in the 62nd minute.
Dembare did everything except to score as their forwards once again struggled for form on an afternoon the former champions charmed the crowd with their sleek passing game.
For Mangombe he was back in familiar territory in this love-hate relationship with the Dembare fans, who on Thursday jeered him despite the victory.
But on Sunday, the Dembare faithfuls applauded the side for a glamorous performance which unfortunately ended in defeat.
“It’s quite unfortunate we lost concentration in critical situations after missing that chance and we were punished on the break,” Mangombe said after the match.
