AFTER a flying start to the Ruvimbo funerals central region soccer league, log leaders Dulibadzimu United have bodly declared their intentions to gain promotion into the Premier Soccer League (PSL) this time around.

The Beitbridge based side has started the season on a high note and currently occupy pole position on the log with 13 points from five outings.

Dulibadzimu coach, Stanley Ncube said his side is focused on collecting as many points as they possibly can in the opening rounds of the league.

“We have had a good start so far. If we can get double figures of points in every five games it puts us in a favourable position,” Ncube told The Echo Sports.

“Although it’s too early to talk about promotion, we’re a competitive side that is ambitious, so we take it a game at a time.”

Border Strikers were the last team from the town to play in the top flight in 2016.

“If we can achieve promotion our town will be on the map again football wise, it’s been long since we hosted PSL matches here,” added the dreadlocked gaffer.
