FORMER premiership outfit, Sheasham will be seeking for their first ever win in the Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Soccer League this season when they face Kwekwe United at the Ziscosteel club on Saturday.
The Construction boys currently sit in tenth place on the log standings with two points from two matches.
They drew their opening two matches, away to Dulibadzimu (0-0) before being held to a two all draw by newcomers Dinson Mvuma last weekend.
Sheasham coach, Lizwe Sweswe said they are not concerned by their past results but focused on the task at hand.
“The players are really motivated by this game, we do not mind how tricky the opponents are. We only deal with our team which we have control over,” Sweswe said.
Sweswe, who won the premier league title with FC Platinum in 2019,
added that the two points accrued so far are of paramount importance as they will come in handy at the end of the season.
“So far so good, everything is well, the two points are very important to us.We are still working on so many things which will make winning possible,” he added.
“Yes coming back to the PSL is important but we must not jump levels,we have to build a team which will stay in the top flight if we get promoted.”
Sheasham have an experienced squad, having made several additions to their team such as Rahman Kutsanzira, Ray Lunga Mthokhozisi Ncube and Nickson Gama among others.
