RUVIMBO funerals Central Region Soccer League (CRLS) outfit, Blanket Mine coach, Max Ruza is hoping for more from his charges this campaign following a flying start to the season.
The Gwanda based side started the season on a high note when they collected maximum points in their two league outing.
Blanket Mine demolished Gokwe North 5-0 at home in the opening match of the season before dispatching Black Eagles 2-0 last weekend.
The former Shabanie and Black Rhinos midfielder said he is pleased with the good start his side has had so far.
“God does things in strange ways, we’re glad and fortunate that we started on a high note,”Ruza told The Echo Sports.
“It’s a fact that every journey starts with a single step. It’s everyone’s dream to do well in any undertaking. Starting with a win worked as a psychological therapy which stimulates confidence and morale in the camp.”
He also added that they are targeting positive outcomes which are better than the previous season.
“It’s always an issue of inputs and output. Anyone or organization that channels its resources into any project expects positive outcome. In relation to the team this season, Blanket Mine as the (sponsor) expects a better show more than the previous seasons. This indirectly spells that they are demanding more from the Technical team and the team,” added Ruza.
Blanket Mine will however, this week, have a bye following the suspension of their opponents Amazon from the league.
