THE Premier Soccer League (PSL) has released fixtures for the 2024 season with two potentially explosive matches on match day one.
Perennial rivals Highlanders and Dynamos lock horns at Babourfields stadium in Bulawayo while former cup kings Caps United hosts 2015 champions, Chicken Inn.
It is however, the battle of Zimbabwe that will be the highlight of the season opener.
The same fixture last season was abandoned in the first half due to crowd trouble with the Glamour boys leading 2-0.
Highlanders will be hoping for better fortunes this time around under the guidance of Zambian mentor Kelvin Kaindu who is making a return to the club for a second stint as coach.
Reigning champions Ngezi Platinum Stars open their title defence on the road with a trip to Bulawayo to face debutants Arenel Movers.
Former league champions FC Platinum open their campaign with a home match against new boys Chegutu Pirates.
