TONGOGARA coach, Calvin Maposa is not giving up on the dream of winning promotion into the Premier Soccer League this season.
His side came from behind to collect maximum points in a 2-1 win over Dulibadzimu in a Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Soccer League match in Beitbridge on Sunday.
Shelton Mhaka and Michael Mavuto were on target as the army side moved to within three points of leaders Telone fc.
The Wifi boys however, are likely to be awarded a full set of points and restore their lead to six points following a walkover decision against Shabanie Mine.
The army side are on 49 points while Telone have 52 points pending confirmation of the Shabanie mine game.
“We are going to fight until the last match, my players showed a lot of fighting spirit to come from a goal down and win this match,” Maposa said.
“We remain undefeated and the only team that is undefeated, we are going to fight. I won’t read much into what happened in the Telone match. Even if we miss out on promotion I will be proud of my boys and how they have given a fight to this stage.”
There are three rounds of fixtures left before the curtain comes down on the season.
