BLACK Rhinos have declared war on Ngezi Platinum Stars when the two sides clash in the Chibuku Super Cup semi final at Bata stadium on Saturday.

The army side have struggled in the premiership this season but have experienced good fortunes in the country’s only cup competition.

And winning the Chibuku Super Cup would be the club’s perfect redemption of their tattered season.

Ahead of the match, Rhinos coach Saul Chaminuka sounded bullish.

“We are more than ready come Saturday, football is a game of pressure, if anything I think there is going to be a war on Saturday,” he declared.

“We visited them two weeks or so back and they beat us 1-0 so on Saturday we are going to do the same to them so that we celebrate like they celebrated the other week.”

Chauya Chipembere have played all their matches in the competition away from home. Travelling to Mhondoro Ngezi for their preliminary tie against Sheasham.

Chauya Chipembere were on the road again in the first round and quarter finals against Manica Diamonds and Chicken Inn respectively.

Chaminuka’s charges will make use of home advantage in their biggest match of the season and he believes his players are all fired up for the encounter.

“It’s going to be a war, my boys know it, this is a game that is self motivating, a game tht they want to take in,” he added.

“We have done our homework and dealt with the football issues we think they gave us problems, it’s the same team nothing much has changed about them. We want that cup and they are the stumbling block in the way so we will take them out of the way.”
