THE four-day warriors training camp that started last week ended today according to ZIFA.
The training camp was organized to give Warriors coach Baltermar Brito a chance to have a look at some of the players ahead of two World Cup qualifiers next month.
“The coach and his staff worked with 20 players through four extensive training sessions, including a training game with a Northern region soccer league select,” ZIFA said in a post on Tuesday.
“This was a second initiative organized by the association and the Warriors technical team to give as many players as possible a chance to audition for a place in Brito’s team for the World Cup qualifiers.”
Brito had the opportunity to have a closer look at new players such as Godknows Gurure and Munashe Garananga while seasoned campaigners such as Ronald Pfumbidzai, Godknows Murwira and Washington Arubi were also part of the training camp.
