RUVIMBO funeral Central Region Soccer League log leaders, Telone FC restored their six point lead at the top of the log standings with a comprehensive 5-0 mauling of visiting Amazon fc.
The WiFi boys lost their match last weekend away to Dulibadzimu, allowing second placed Tongogara to cut their lead at the summit to three points.
However, the Tendai Chikuni coached side returned to winning ways in spectacular fashion, ruthlessly annihilating the new boys on Saturday.
The match between Midlands State University (MSU) and Tongogara was postponed to Wednesday due to a water logged pitch. Which means the WiFi boys will, for now enjoy a six point cushion at the apex of the table.
The are on 43 points from 18 matches while the army side closely follow with 37 points.
Elsewhere, Chapungu continued with their revival with a comfortable 3-0 win on the road to CM Academy. The air force of Zimbabwe side are fourth on the log 12 points behind the leaders.
ZPC Munyati and Shabanie played out a goaless draw at Maglas while Kwekwe United got the better of FC Platinum Under 19 winning 2-1 with former premiership players Moses Muchenje and David Temwanjira on target.
There was nothing to separate Bishopstone and Dulibadzimu as they shared the spoils in a nil all draw.
