GWERU-based female bodybuilder, Yeukai Midzi says she is optimistic of finishing tops at the Marume Classic which is on this Saturday in Harare.
Midzi, who has become one of the consistent female bodybuilders in the country over the past couple of years is thrilled to be back on stage at the highest level.
“The whole year I have prepared for this show, I think this is the first big show of the year after Novice, so I am looking forward to the challenge,” she said.
The Marume Classic becomes the first big show on the bodybuilding calendar this year, following the postponement of the ZIFT classic and Mr Iron man earlier this year.
And Midzi feels she will use this show to make a statement of intent ahead of the other forthcoming shows later in the year.
“I feel I have done all I can to be in the best condition, I am going to give the best and I am hoping to give it all, I can’t wait. I am going to win,” Midzi boldly declared.
The Muscle and Fitness gym bodybuilder will however, have to be at her best as there will be stiff competition in the women’s bikini fitness category, with seasoned campaigners such as Lynett Tom and Evangelista Madanhi out to outshine her.
