TERRY Madyauta retained his post as the MISA-Zimbabwe Gweru chapter chairperson at an election held last Saturday.

Madyauta will be deputized by Onward Gangata from The Echo News, who was elected as the vice chairperson.
Tinaani Nyabereka (98.4FM) is the new secretary while Victoria Nyanhete(98.4FM ) completes the committee as a committee member.
The committee will spearhead media activities in the Midlands capital for the next three years.
Former MISA Zimbabwe national chairperson, Golden Maunganidze, presided over the elections.
He hailed the level of professionalism and organization by the Gweru chapter in the last term.
“May I take this opportunity to thank you all for the good work over the past three years,” he said.
“During my time as the national chair, the Gweru chapter has been one of the best teams I have worked with, your level of professionalism and organization is highly commendable.”
In his acceptance speech, Madyauta thanked the MISA Gweru members for showing faith in his leadership.
“A big thank you to colleagues, for entrusting me with this great responsibility, I hope that together we will continue as a united front,” he said.
