THE bail ruling in the case of Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) senior journalist, Blessed Mhlanga was yesterday postponed to today.
This was due to the magistrate, Farai Gwitima’s absence as he was attending a family bereavement.
Mhlanga is currently in custody and is charged with transmitting data messages that incite public violence.
He is facing two charges of breaching Section 164 of the Criminal Law(Codification and Reform), Act.
The State alleges that after interviewing war veteran Blessed Geza twice in January and February, Mhlanga went on to transmit Geza’s messages, which incited violence.
The said messages were transmitted through YouTube and the HSTV platforms.
