AFRO FUSION artist, Lucious Chaangamire real name Innocious Tarwireyi is set to drop a new album at the end of this month.
The seven track album titled Suwo will be released on April 30, on the musician’s YouTube channel.
The album was produced by DJ Elly of Madcools records and also features Deeman SoulJah on the track Marwei and Mr Koncious HKD on Vhuzhumura.
Tarwireyi also worked with other producers on this project. Papa Hanella and King Percy also co-produced two of the tracks on the album.
“The new album is loaded, fans need to be ready for this because I a promising fireworks. I worked with some good producers and artists on this project which I hope makes it a sound production,” Tarwireyi told The Echo.
This will be Tarwireyi’s third album after Manyezunyakata (2020) and Makunakuna(2022), and on this one, the Kwekwe based musician exudes maturity.
Tracks such as Vhuzhumura pfimbi and Zera ra baba provide a social commentary to the current issues affecting today’s generation while Suwo will surely appeal to those in love.
The musician revealed that he has been working on the new album for nearly a year now.
” I have taken my time and effort into doing this product, the idea being I want to leave a lasting impression of myself and my brand as an artist and the music I do. I hope the fans will love this album,” he added.
“We are still working on some logistical issues in order for us to have a launch of the album in the form of a concert but that will be for a later date.”
